Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You are looking for a new challenge as an ICT Senior Network Engineer and already have experience in this field. In this role, you take responsibility for the network infrastructure and ensure it operates efficiently and securely. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining network solutions and work closely with other teams to develop innovative solutions. Your goal is to keep network technology up to date and support our customers with smart solutions. You are an important part of a dynamic team and have the opportunity to continuously expand your skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you develop requirements together with customers and create tailored network and security concepts
As a Senior Network & Security Engineer, you plan, implement, and maintain next-generation firewall solutions and networks
You inspire customers through high customer satisfaction
You realise demanding ICT projects in the area of network and security
In this role, you conduct customer training and support the optimal use of the implemented solutions
You take responsibility for troubleshooting, system optimisation, and continuous development
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education/studies in system technology or a comparable field
You bring several years of professional experience with a focus on firewall and network products
You have solid know-how in networking, routing, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, firewall, VPN, and wireless LAN
You hold certifications such as Fortinet NSE4, Cisco CCNA, or comparable qualifications
You are characterised by strong customer orientation, an independent and structured working style, and enjoy teamwork
You speak fluent German
