The Schaffhausen Transport Company (vbsh) is the innovative, customer- and market-oriented transport company of the city and region of Schaffhausen and employer of around 270 employees. With our approximately 70 articulated and standard buses, we currently transport around 14 million passengers annually in the city and region of Schaffhausen. The vbsh offers modern workplaces both at the wheel of our buses as well as in the workshop and administration in the renovated bus depot.

You bring with you...
Completed secondary or intermediate school with very good grades
Successfully passed aptitude test at the motor trade association
Interest in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
Technical understanding and a strong imagination
Open, motivated, team- and enthusiasm-capable
Willingness to learn, perseverance, resilience and independence
Good manners


You can expect...
Independent work on commercial vehicles (city buses)
Modern and personal tool trolley
Use of test, measurement and diagnostic devices
Repair and maintenance work on engine, drive, chassis and vehicle electronics
Diagnostic work on pneumatic, hydraulic and door systems
Inter-company courses (Winterthur) complement the practical vocational training in the company and at vocational school (Wetzikon)
Broad learning support including exam preparation
Bonus for good school grades and apprenticeship completion
Driving licence categories B and C are also part of the basic training
