What you can achieve:
- Together with a competent team, you are responsible for guarding as well as access and property control in an asylum centre
- You conduct patrol duties in pairs inside and outside the building
- Convey a sense of security to those around you
- Your presence ensures a smooth daily routine as well as peace and order
- In conflicts, you act de-escalatingly and intervene to ensure the safety of asylum seekers and the public
- Cooperation with various authorities
- You take on unusual security tasks in the asylum environment, such as the initial registration of new asylum seekers
What you bring:
- At least 21 years old
- Impeccable character; please include a current debt enforcement and criminal record extract with your application (not older than 3 months)
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Willingness and enjoyment of irregular working hours (weekend and night work in a three-shift system)
- Willingness to work at least two shifts of 8 hours per week
- Very good physical and mental condition
- Communicative, good manners, confident appearance and high resilience
