About the job
Politics determines the framework conditions of the SRG. Therefore, dialogue with political actors and mutual understanding are central. The Public Affairs department of SRG is responsible for the strategic management of decision-making processes at the interface between politics, business, and society, maintains ongoing exchange with political stakeholders, and accompanies legislative processes in the Federal Palace.

This is your contribution
As a Public Affairs Specialist, you independently manage political dossiers, contribute your political expertise in specialist groups, and accompany parliamentary matters from A to Z.
- Responsibility for Public Affairs projects and representation of Public Affairs in internal project and working groups
- Research & analyses, developing scenarios and creating concepts and strategies (including positions and measures) in the field of Public Affairs
- Preparing fact sheets, political argumentation, presentations, and texts for various internal and external channels
- Monitoring the political and regulatory environment, strategic assessment of relevance for SRG, regular management reporting
- Supporting political stakeholder management, situational contacts and advocacy towards political stakeholders
This is what excites us about you
- Proven several years of experience in Public Affairs in a company, association, or agency
- Sound knowledge of political processes and institutions, familiarity with Public Affairs tools and methods
- Background in political or media studies, strong understanding of media policy issues and public service
- Confident in German with very good knowledge of French. Knowledge of other national languages is an advantage
- Great interest and understanding of the challenges of media public service, solution-oriented approach
