Nurse at the Ambulatory Surgery Centre
To complete our team at the Ambulatory Surgery Centre, we are looking for a qualified nurse (HES-SO) for a workload between 80% and 100% for daily activity starting 1st September 2026 or as agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
Scheduled and emergency surgical activities are carried out on weekdays in a state-of-the-art environment and bring together various disciplines in 7 operating rooms. The ambulatory surgery centre is open from 6:30 am to 7 pm.
Mission
- You ensure the proper execution of delegated medical acts and take responsibility by demonstrating your mastery of technical skills in pre-operative, post-operative and recovery room settings
- You ensure the reception of patients and their relatives as well as the preparation of their discharge from the centre
- You ensure the quality and safety of services to patients by respecting ethical and professional values
- You work as part of a team, communicate with patients and those involved in the care plan
- You participate in the supervision of trainees and integrate new scientific knowledge into practice.
Profile
- You hold a nursing degree (HES-SO) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Red Cross for staff qualified abroad
- You enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team
- You are autonomous, flexible and adapt easily to the dynamic environment of an ambulatory surgery centre
- You are dynamic, responsible and have a good capacity to adapt.
Depending on your profile, the salary scale will be between level 8 and level 9.
