Responsibilities:
You operate and further develop virtual environments with VMware, Nutanix and open-source hypervisors
You administer Windows and Linux systems on workstations and VDI
You continuously develop the network infrastructure and network security
You implement and migrate IT systems and automate installations with scripting
You analyse faults, define escalation processes and maintain the technical documentation
Qualifications:
You have an IT education, advanced IT training
You bring several years of experience as a System Engineer in the Windows and Linux environment
You have sound knowledge of VMware, VCF Operations/Automation and vSphere Kubernetes Service
You are familiar with cyber security and firewalls such as Check Point and Fortinet and program with PowerShell, Bash, PHP or Python
You have very good German skills. English B2
