Construction Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for construction management and execution planning of demanding architectural projects in the Zurich area. You will accompany high-quality construction projects from tendering through detailed execution planning to realisation and handover. You will be responsible for coordinating the contractors, specialist planners and project participants and ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and quality requirements. The position combines classic construction management with a high constructive and architectural standard.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of demanding building projects from the execution phase to acceptance and handover
Participation in execution and detailed planning as well as technical review of planning and construction solutions
Coordination of contractors, specialist planners, specialists and other project participants during realisation
Preparation and processing of tenders and submissions including offer comparison and support in awarding contracts
Planning and monitoring of construction processes, execution deadlines and milestones
Ongoing control and monitoring of costs, deadlines and execution quality
Review of offers, invoices and claims as well as support in cost control and construction accounting
Leading and minute-taking of construction meetings as well as coordination and follow-up of pending issues
Control of construction execution with regard to execution planning, contracts, SIA standards and quality requirements
Conducting and coordinating acceptances, defect management and final documentation
Accompanying projects through various SIA service phases and close collaboration with architecture and project management
Qualifications:
Training as a certified construction manager, certified technician HF, architect FH/ETH or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of construction management experience in Switzerland with demanding building projects
Solid experience in tendering, submission, execution planning and construction management
Good knowledge of cost, schedule and quality management as well as Swiss construction and contract law
Thorough knowledge of relevant SIA standards, building regulations and execution standards
Confident use of common CAD, Office and construction management applications
Very good German language skills spoken and written
