Research Associate (50%)

for our Finance and Tax team (Location & Politics)

As the voice of business, we advocate for the concerns of companies in the Basel region. With our Location & Politics department, we represent the interests of our members towards politics, administration and society. Finance and taxes are an important location factor – for companies already operating here in the Basel region, as well as for firms wishing to settle with us.

• You research and write basics, consultations, factsheets, motions and web texts for various dialogue groups

• You organise and conduct an event on financial and tax policy topics

• You gain an overview of the economically relevant political developments in the Basel region and prepare these appropriately for the target audience

• You support the department head in the diverse daily business

• You proactively contribute your foundational work within the team and in collaboration with our specialist commissions

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• You have a political understanding, enjoy researching numbers and facts and like to prepare these appropriately for the target audience

• You work precisely, focused and quality-conscious

• You are conscientious, independent and eager to learn new things

• You have good oral and written German skills; knowledge of French and English is an advantage
