Role:
Your work begins when systems don’t communicate with each other.
As an Integration Engineer, you ensure that applications, data and services communicate reliably with each other. APIs, Java and integration platforms form the technical basis – at the same time, it is about developing well-thought-out and sustainable solutions for different customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Interfaces & APIs
You develop interfaces with Java through which different systems communicate with each other.
You use REST, SOAP and Open API / Swagger for modern integration scenarios.
You ensure secure communication between connected systems using OAuth2 and JWT.
Integration & Development
You work with Apache Camel as the central integration platform.
You use XML/XSLT where data is transformed and different formats are connected.
You further develop existing solutions and find technical approaches to make integrations simpler and more efficient.
Customers & Projects
You accompany technical projects from the initial idea to final implementation.
You translate requirements into concrete integration solutions, bringing in your technical perspective.
You work directly with customers and internal teams and ensure clear communication between technology and requirements.
Qualifications:
You have solid experience in Java development.
You have already developed APIs and interfaces and integrated them into existing system landscapes.
You have knowledge of SQL and databases.
Ideally, you have experience with Apache Camel, XML/XSLT or comparable integration technologies.
You are curious about new technologies and enjoy continuously developing yourself.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
You communicate fluently in German and English and can explain technical topics clearly even in direct customer contact.
