About the job
APPRENTICESHIP MECHATRONICIAN FOR REFRIGERATION TECHNOLOGY (M/F/D) 2027
WOLF is a leading provider of sustainable heat pumps, hybrid solutions and highly efficient ventilation systems. WOLF supports planning engineers, installers and end customers throughout the entire planning process as well as in the coordination of components for heating systems and ventilation units in the areas of heating, solar, air treatment and ventilation – thus ensuring an optimal indoor climate, from single-family and multi-family houses to office buildings and industrial plants.
WOLF is part of the Ariston Group, a globally leading company in sustainable climate and hot water solutions, listed on Euronext Milan. In 2025, the group achieved sales of 2.7 billion euros, employed nearly 11,000 people and had a direct presence in 41 countries on 5 continents, 32 production sites and 31 research and development centres.
The group emphasises its commitment to sustainability through renewable and particularly energy-efficient solutions, including heat pumps for space heating, heat pumps for hot water preparation, hybrid systems, residential ventilation, air treatment, electrical components and solar thermal systems. At the same time, the company continuously invests in technological innovation, digitalisation and advanced connectivity solutions.
The corporate group operates with the global strategic brands Ariston, Wolf and Elco as well as brands such as Calorex, NTI, Atag, Domotec, Brink, Chromagen, Racold, Thermowatt and Ecoflam in the field of component and combustion technologies.
You keep an overview from planning to the perfect temperature
As a mechatronic technician for refrigeration technology (m/f/d), you ensure that everything related to refrigeration circuits in our company runs optimally. The special feature: your training takes place predominantly in the development area. There you assist in the design, construction and testing of modern climate and heat pump systems and gain exciting insights into innovative technologies of tomorrow. Your tasks range from planning through assembly to commissioning: you create technical documentation, install components such as compressors, evaporators, pumps or control units and check them for function and safety. In testing, you also accompany tests and analyses on prototypes and help to continuously further develop products. But your job is far from done: you set up the devices, connect them, commission them professionally, carry out regular maintenance and are also responsible for repairs if necessary. In short: you accompany your systems throughout their entire lifecycle – with technical know-how, system thinking and a sense for precise solutions. At the same time, you work where new ideas are born and innovative climate and heat pump technologies for the future are developed.
You are suitable for this profession if you…
- enjoy combining theoretical and practical work
- have a desire for welding, soldering, flanging and screwing
- have an eye for the big picture regarding optimal operation and energy-saving possibilities
