As a key person in an interface role between financial centre actors, cybersecurity, politics and the public, you can actively shape the demanding communication.

Our client is a dynamic young association based in Basel, aiming to strengthen the resilience of the financial sector against cyber risks and to build a common structure for information exchange and crisis management.

To strengthen the association, we are looking for an experienced and engaging individual for a key position as

Head of Communication & Media (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your tasks

• Implementation of the association's strategic priorities regarding communication, i.e. development and further advancement of thematic communication, maintenance of topic dossiers as well as implementation and further development of the communication strategy
• Responsibility for media relations and active relationship management with journalists
• Monitoring political and regulatory developments in Switzerland. Analysing their relevance for the association and developing positions and statements
• Leading editorial meetings, responsibility for the annual planning of all communication activities
• Advising the board and the office on communication matters and supporting with briefings, presentations and other communication measures
• Writing and editing content for press releases, newsletters, annual reports, social media, website and other channels
• Analysing the impact of communication measures

Your profile

• University degree or advanced training in communication, media studies or marketing
• Several years of solid experience in communication work
• Experience in the banking or insurance environment is an advantage
• Interest in finance and cyber security topics as well as politics
• Experience in the further development of integrated communication as well as in crisis communication
• Experience with content, analytics and AI tools
• Native German speaker (confident in spoken and written language), very good English skills in spoken and written form (at least C1), French is an advantage
• Communicative, engaging and team-oriented personality
• Very high conceptual skills
• Networked thinking ability
• Organisational and coordination flair
• Responsible, reliable and goal-oriented working style
