THE POSITION

In this versatile role, you are an important interface between our sales, procurement and logistics teams as well as our tank farms, refinery, customers and suppliers.

You ensure that our contracts – from sales and purchasing through delivery to invoicing – are handled correctly and efficiently. At the same time, you are a central contact person for internal departments regarding contract entry and support our sales and procurement teams in administrative and operational matters.

Through close collaboration with various areas, you are well connected and have a comprehensive insight into our business processes. With your experience and your holistic view, you contribute to ensuring that our interfaces function smoothly. Furthermore, you actively bring your ideas into the optimisation of our processes and help us to continuously develop our workflows.

You can expect a varied range of tasks with plenty of contact with different internal and external partners and a direct insight into our daily business.

Your main tasks

• You work in a team that is in regular contact with various departments such as Sales, Supply & Trading, Logistics, Indirect Tax, Refinery and Tank Farms and serves as a point of contact for the administrative matters of order processing

• You maintain contact with our customers and suppliers

• You manage the monthly nominations from order entry through delivery, month-end closing tasks to invoicing

• You maintain and manage various price and quantity databases

• You prepare various analyses and reports

• Booking and reconciliation of quantity movements for all tank farms as well as ensuring correct inventory management.
  

  Your profile

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and have at least 5 years of experience

  • You enjoy contact with both internal and external parties, working reliably and accurately

  • You have a quick grasp, are customer-oriented, flexible and resilient

  • You have good knowledge of IT applications (MS Office, ERP systems etc.)

  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile; French skills are an advantage

  • You have excellent attention to detail

  • You are a team player with open and honest communication

  • In your work, you are resilient and resourceful, with the ability to work precisely under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet critical deadlines
