As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling is responsible for services in the area of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Are you a professional in HRM and would like to contribute your expertise in a versatile HR generalist role? Do you convince with a solution-oriented, positive attitude and a strong service mindset? To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for a committed individual as an HR Manager from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, limited until 31 December 2030.
Your area of responsibility:
- Competent advice & support for managers in all personnel and labour law matters
- Responsibility for the operational handling of all personnel processes
- Conducting recruitment processes
- Managing & supporting complex personnel and case management cases
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines
- Leading and participating in HR projects and working groups
You bring:
- Commercial basic training with a federal HR specialist certificate or equivalent education/training
- Several years of professional experience, at least 4 years in a comparable role, preferably in the public administration
- The ability to take a clear position, even in demanding situations, while advising in a partnership manner
- High IT affinity, ideally experience with SAP-HR
- And lots of drive!
