Are you looking for a position where you can fully focus on speech therapy work with children? Then you are exactly right with us! At the Feld Schoolhouse and in our newly founded "Therapies Specialist Team of the Wetzikon School," an exciting task with plenty of creative freedom awaits you. You conduct assessments, therapeutically accompany children in individual or group settings, advise parents and teachers, and implement your own ideas for therapy, prevention, and language promotion. What do you bring? A diploma in speech therapy (EDK recognition or willingness to obtain it), joy in supporting children with special needs as well as regular school children, openness to different cultures, and a communicative, responsible, and independent manner.
Your new school
With around 550 students from all over the world, the Feld School is the largest school in Wetzikon. About 90 staff members are committed daily in 19 classes and 8 kindergartens. Since 2018, Feld has been a QUIMS school ("Quality in Multicultural Schools"). The teachers engage with dialogic learning according to Ruf/Gallin and use the strengths of the children profitably for teaching. The school culture includes joint events for the entire school, active student participation, and committed collaboration with parents.

The cross-school specialist team Therapies meets regularly, and there you will always find the necessary support. A mentor or your local job partner accompanies you and helps you find your way around well. You benefit from regular professional exchanges, intervisions, and the bundled knowledge of an experienced team. Additionally, you are supported by your supervisor, the head of the Therapies department, who is herself a speech therapy specialist. A well-equipped therapy room centrally located in the schoolhouse as well as modern aids such as diverse learning software (from AudioLog to Zabulo) and iPads with a steadily growing app collection make your work varied, exciting, and effective.
