Production Pharmacist at the Pharmacy Service
The Directorate of the Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) of the CHUV is looking for a Production Pharmacist at an 80% activity rate, within the framework of a fixed-term contract from August 1, 2026 (or to be agreed) to July 31, 2027, to strengthen its team.
Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and education.
The Pharmacy Service of the CHUV is responsible for the manufacturing and supply of pharmaceutical products to the hospital, the responsibility for the rational use of medicines, as well as teaching and research in the field of hospital pharmacy.
Mission
- You supervise the manufacturing of aseptic and non-sterile magistral preparations, including parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, analgesics, anticoagulants
- You ensure strict GMP compliance and guarantee process conformity with current regulations
- You ensure the pharmaceutical validation of medical prescriptions and the release of preparations, performing necessary controls to guarantee their quality and safety
- You are responsible for meeting production deadlines and traceability of operations
- You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes
- You autonomously manage sector development projects under the supervision of the unit manager
- You participate in the initial and ongoing training of unit staff, as well as in pre- and post-graduate teaching
- You support the development of skills within the team.
Profile
- You hold a federal pharmacist diploma, a MAS (or an FPH title), or an equivalent recognized qualification
- You have experience in drug production in a hospital or industrial environment
- You also have experience in the production of parenteral nutrition
- You are comfortable using computerized systems.
