School Herzogenbuchsee – Kindergarten and primary school in the heart of Oberaargau: Centrally located on the main traffic axis between Bern and Olten, the School Herzogenbuchsee offers children from the municipalities of Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz a comprehensive education from kindergarten to 6th grade.
Currently, around 730 students are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers at five school and five kindergarten locations. In addition to regular classes, the school also coordinates special education – including speech therapy and psychomotor skills – for the surrounding schools in the region.

Responsibilities
You support children with difficulties in language, speaking, understanding, or voice. You work closely with teachers and parents to identify and promote speech development disorders or language abnormalities at an early stage.
In individual or small group settings, you playfully practice vocabulary, pronunciation, language comprehension, or storytelling with the students. The goal is to strengthen the children's communication skills and thus positively support their academic and social development.
The two speech therapists and the two psychomotor therapists look forward to you as a new team member. You will work in modern speech therapy rooms with a very good basic equipment of speech therapy materials. It is also possible to serve another school location.
Requirements
- You have training as a speech therapist
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate skillfully and on an equal footing with teachers and parents
