Your tasks

• Responsibility for the reliable operation and technical support of our inspection systems for tube and packaging machines
• Supporting customers and internal specialist departments during commissioning, optimisation, troubleshooting and technical support of PackSys Global’s inspection systems. You will also undertake customer assignments on site as needed
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex issues as an expert in 2nd/3rd level support
• In addition to your operational activities, you support R&D in the development and optimisation of innovative inspection solutions and actively participate in tests, trials and feasibility studies to validate new inspection systems
• Active knowledge transfer through training and technical advice to employees, service organisations and customers

Your profile

• You have a technical basic education as a polymechanic, automation technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification and have ideally supplemented this with further training at HF or FH level in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation or a related field
• You are very familiar with industrial image processing and optical inspection systems and preferably have specialised training in this area
• Thanks to your technical understanding of vision technologies, automation and control systems, you quickly analyse complex contexts and competently support customers with technical questions and challenges
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both orally and in writing, and appreciate working with international customers and interdisciplinary teams
• Willingness to travel for customer visits, commissioning and training at home and abroad completes your profile
