Senior Cisco Network Engineer (56371)

Task

For a client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer specialising in Cisco to analyse and resolve complex performance issues in a demanding network environment. In this role, you will analyse performance and latency issues at various locations and identify the causes across the entire infrastructure. You will work closely with internal departments as well as external technology partners and coordinate the technical clarifications until a sustainable solution is found. The focus is on analysing network, server, and infrastructure components as well as assessing the interaction of Cisco networks, WAN connections, load balancers, and firewalls. You will take on a consulting and technical expert role and support the optimisation of network performance.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Specialist
• Extensive knowledge of the Cisco network environment (mandatory)
• Strong experience in analysing and resolving complex network and performance issues
• Good knowledge of routing, switching, and WAN technologies
• Experience working with internal and external technology partners
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German and English skills
