Team Leader IT & Software Engineering in Electronics Manufacturing (m/f/d)

What is this role about?

You lead the IT system and software engineering team with seven employees and strategically develop both the team and the system landscape of electronics production. Additionally, you coordinate collaboration with central IT, production, and other departments, ensuring competent 2nd and 3rd level support.

What tasks will you take on?

• You lead the newly established IT system and software engineering team with seven employees both professionally and personally and develop the organisation purposefully.
• You are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and sustainably developing new team members, creating optimal conditions for effective collaboration.
• You shape the strategic further development of the team and the system landscape for electronics production at the Reinach site, aligning it consistently with future requirements.
• You ensure close cooperation with central IT, industrialisation, production, and project management and guarantee competent 2nd and 3rd level support for complex technical issues.
• You identify future requirements for systems and software, prioritise these together with relevant stakeholders, and coordinate their successful implementation.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a completed technical degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• You bring several years of professional experience in an industrial environment as well as solid leadership experience and understand complex technical contexts.
• You have proven experience in project management and software development as well as knowledge of SAP (R3 and S4Hana), ERP, and MES systems (iTAC is an advantage).
• You communicate confidently in German and English and navigate confidently in an international environment.
• You convince through an independent, creative, and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
