At the Hohenrain Curative Education Center, we actively shape the future of children and adolescents with cognitive or language impairments – from kindergarten to school leaving. Do you enjoy working with children as much as we do? Then bring your enthusiasm and social pedagogical know-how in caring for children and adolescents with autism to us.
Your tasks
- You accompany a student with autism during lessons and help him to facilitate structure and routines in everyday school life.
- Your work is supported by your expertise in AAC-supported communication.
- You actively maintain relationship building with the adolescent and consider the individual needs in working with parents and caregivers.
- You experience very collegial support in an open team and work together with experienced teachers and classroom assistants in everyday school life. In addition, you can exchange ideas with professionals from therapy and social pedagogy.
- Our student can count on your support from Monday to Thursday.
Your profile
- You have completed training in social pedagogy at HF or FH level.
- With great joy, commitment, and composure, you accompany children and adolescents with autism and ensure a safe environment with your clarity and presence.
- You bring your knowledge profitably into the team and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
- You are a reliable person and bring your flexibility and organizational strength into teaching and dealing with the adolescent.
- You are mentally and physically resilient and can handle difficult situations.
