You can contribute to this role

• Ensure the availability, delivery readiness and stockpiling of system materials for the helicopter fleets Super Puma/Cougar and EC635
• Plan and survey the assembly and disassembly of the mobile field hangar and lead the detachment
• Commission the industry with the refurbishment of defective and/or due assemblies and monitor the return delivery to various warehouses
• Carry out demand planning as well as data maintenance of disposition and distribution data using SAP and develop and review management concepts
• Support the aircraft usage control (NSFP) in the deployment planning of helicopters and monitor and control the due dates of the individual helicopters
• Act as deputy in the area of operational competence centre mobile field hangar as well as for the foreign clerk and the main helicopter dispatcher

What makes you unique

• Certificate of competence as an electromechanic, mechanic or equivalent 4-year technical basic education
• Professional experience in the field of helicopter systems
• Responsible, team- and customer-oriented, independent, precise working style
• Very good IT skills (MS Office, SAP), driving licence category B, military basic training (RS) advantageous
• Very good knowledge of an official language, understanding technical documentation in English (level B1)

In a nutshell

As the competence centre of the Swiss Air Force (LW) in the helicopter sector, the Alpnach airfield command is responsible for constant operational readiness and offers numerous interesting jobs in a technologically advanced environment. By providing, maintaining and repairing the Super Puma (TH 06), Cougar (TH 18) and Eurocopter (EC 635), we ensure the permanent fulfilment of the Swiss Army's missions at home and abroad. We provide subsidiary support services during operations and missions in favour of emergency services. In addition, we are deployed in disaster and rescue operations as well as in peacekeeping and humanitarian aid missions.

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command and the Military Police.
