Tasks:
- psychotherapeutic activity in the oncological field
- psychological and psycho-oncological support activities
- maintenance and updating of medical records, report writing, statistical data collection
- within the activities of the SPPM team and the LCTI team, the psychologist is responsible for consultancy activities regarding their specific competences, at public, semi-public and private institutions and facilities
- participation in SPPM or LCTI working groups, research, consultancy, training, working groups and contacts with Swiss or Italian psycho-oncology societies
Requirements:
- diploma or licence or bachelor+master in psychology obtained at a Swiss university or, if obtained at a foreign university, federal recognition of the diploma issued by the Psychological Professions Commission PsiCo (pursuant to art. 2 and 3 of the Federal Law on Psychological Professions (LPPsi))
- authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychologist active in the healthcare sector (see details in special notes)
- authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychotherapist (see details in special notes)
- possession of a diploma or certificate in psycho-oncology, or currently enrolled in the training course
- interest and motivation for the development of psycho-oncology, interest in research and willingness to be part of cantonal and national working groups
- experience in the public psychiatric field (over 3 years) may be considered a preferential qualification
- ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, proactive attitude, adaptability, empathy and relational skills
- possess an adequate psycho-attitudinal profile for the profession
- knowledge of the territory, social services and the social-health network of the Canton of Ticino
- perfect command of the Italian language and knowledge of another official language, spoken and written
Special notes:
- candidates with psychologist qualification:
- candidates with a psychologist qualification, with recognition issued by the Psychological Professions Commission (PsiCo) in case of foreign qualifications but not yet in possession of authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychologist active in the healthcare sector, are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it
- candidates with a psychologist qualification obtained at a foreign university, but not yet in possession of recognition from the Psychological Professions Commission (PsiCo), are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it together with authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychologist active in the healthcare sector
- the actual start of activity of the chosen candidate is subject to obtaining authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychologist active in the healthcare sector. Failure to obtain the required qualifications within 6 months of the appointment decision will result in automatic forfeiture
- within 4 years from the start of activity, obtaining authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychotherapist is required. During this period, employment will be in the form of an appointment (art. 15 and 16 LORD). Failure to obtain it will result in definitive termination of the employment relationship
- candidates with psychotherapist qualification:
- candidates with a psychotherapist qualification with recognition issued by the Psychological Professions Commission (PsiCo) in case of foreign qualifications but not yet in possession of authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychotherapist, are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it
- candidates with a psychotherapist qualification but not yet in possession of recognition from the Psychological Professions Commission (PsiCo), are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it together with authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychotherapist
- the actual start of activity of the chosen candidate is subject to obtaining authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychotherapist. Failure to obtain the required qualifications within 6 months of the appointment decision will result in automatic forfeiture
- within 4 years from the start of activity, obtaining authorisation in the Canton of Ticino to practise as a psychologist active in the healthcare sector is required. During this period, employment will be in the form of an appointment (art. 15 and 16 LORD). Failure to obtain it will result in definitive termination of the employment relationship
- employment rate: 50% - appointment (art. 15 and 16 LORD), function temporarily authorised until 31.12.2027
- availability of the candidate to work irregular shifts
- workplace: partly SPPM, Savosa, partly LCTI and in the territory, in particular hospitals, clinics and/or patients' homes
- start date: to be defined

Employment conditions:
- appointment or assignment: those provided for by the Law on the Organisation of State Employees and Teachers of 15 March 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organisation are explicitly reserved
- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
