Your tasks

• Repair and maintenance work on lorries, sweepers and construction machines as well as various equipment for structural and operational maintenance
• Assuming deputy duties during the absence of the Head of Logistics
• Winter on-call duty (commute less than 30 minutes)

Your background

• Training as a construction or agricultural machinery mechanic or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience
• Knowledge of metalworking
• Ability to work independently
• Driving licence category B, category CE advantageous

Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering is responsible, among other things, for the construction, operation and maintenance of cantonal roads including engineering structures, traffic control systems, road signage, lighting and ancillary facilities as well as for the route expansion of public transport. Three districts in Reinach, Liestal and Sissach as well as the Signage division in Liestal serve as regional bases for the construction and maintenance of roads.
