• Become a specialist and independently and proactively handle complex property damage cases in the areas of liability, motor vehicle, and construction insurance. You always place the needs of our customers at the centre and respond individually to their requirements
• Investigate and assess facts - also on site – and make well-founded decisions on coverage, liability, and recourse issues. You involve internal and external experts, organise expert reports, and thus ensure a correct assessment of the cases
• Negotiate actively by phone, in writing, or in person with policyholders, claimants, legal representatives, brokers, private insurers, as well as other internal and external parties. You examine, evaluate, and calculate the liability-based compensation owed, based on contracts, invoices, and documents – if necessary in cooperation with experts

• You have a solid foundation – either from the insurance industry or a legal education – with several years of experience in handling complex claims (liability, motor vehicle, and construction insurance)
• You bring further training (e.g. federal specialist certificate as an insurance specialist or CAS Construction Insurance Law, CAS Liability and Insurance Law, etc.)
• Ideally, you have basic construction technical knowledge and contract law expertise
• You act customer- and solution-oriented and have an entrepreneurial mindset
• You possess strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
• You communicate fluently in German – both spoken and written – and ideally have French and/or English skills
