At the Grosshof Correctional Facility, you will face a challenging role in social work. You will work in a small, humorous team that values open and respectful collaboration. Here, you take on responsibility, actively contribute your experience, and make well-founded assessments that shape the further course of the individuals admitted.
Your tasks
- You conduct casework with admitted individuals and support them throughout their custodial period.
- In contact with the admitted persons and their environment, you advise and support them on social and administrative matters – such as housing, work, finances, health, or social integration.
- You develop offence-relevant topics, individual risk factors, and realistic goals for change together with the admitted persons.
- You attentively observe developments in daily prison life, professionally assess them, and document your evaluations carefully and comprehensibly.
- From your observations in daily prison life and your casework, you derive well-founded, clearly documented recommendations that influence the further course of custody.
Your profile
- You hold a completed degree (Bachelor) in Social Work with a specialisation in Social Work.
- Ideally, you bring professional experience in a demanding practical field, such as correctional services, psychiatry, addiction support, probation services, adult protection, or a residential setting.
- You remain professional in relationships even in stressful, contradictory, or borderline situations while setting clear boundaries.
- With a structured, reflective, and resilient working style, you maintain an overview even in a dynamic and security-relevant environment.
- Careful documentation, audience-appropriate communication, and confidence in using digital tools (MS Office) complete your profile.
