In order to offer a bilingual French-German environment, the Fribourg Montessori School is looking for the start of the school year in August 2025:
a German-speaking Montessori teacher 3-6 years
The Fribourg Montessori School opened its doors in August 2024 in Granges-Paccot, 5 minutes from Fribourg (Switzerland), for children aged 3 to 6 years. The environment established in the school aims to promote both learning and social skills as well as good manners. Our mission is to support each child at their own pace to develop their full potential and become confident, fulfilled, and responsible individuals. The school consists of a single spacious and bright classroom. The premises have been recently renovated and are pleasantly arranged. A playground and a small forest are located next to the building to go outside daily with the children. The reciprocal immersion class will welcome French-speaking and German-speaking children. Teaching will be provided by two teachers, one speaking French and the other speaking German.
Position: Montessori teacher 3-6 years (50-100%)
Working language: German (and French)

Job description
– Understanding and application of Montessori pedagogy principles.
– Accompany children in their development.
– Maintain a firm and caring framework.
– Promote communication, mutual support, and socialization among children.
– Communicate and cooperate with the other teacher for organizing the days, managing the class, and monitoring the children.
– Take care of the classroom and prepare educational materials.
– Develop educational projects on various themes (arts, nature, geography, etc.).
– Participate in pedagogical meetings and other school events.
