Initial Situation
Our client, a small but excellent company in international freight forwarding logistics, is looking for reinforcement in sea freight.
In this position, you independently plan and manage international import and export transports (LCL/FCL) – reliably, solution-oriented and in direct exchange with customers, shipping companies and global partners.

Tasks
• organise and handle worldwide sea freight transports in import and export
• prepare transport, customs and accompanying documents
• coordinate pre- and on-carriage as well as monitor transit times
• communicate with customers, shipping companies, warehouse operators and customs authorities
• record and maintain shipment data in the forwarding system
• process customer enquiries, price requests and quotations
Requirements
• completed training as a freight forwarding agent or equivalent qualification
• initial to several years of experience in sea freight handling import/export (FCL and LCL)
• good knowledge of customs and document preparation
IT
MS Office - user knowledge
Experience with forwarding applications (e.g. CargoWise)
Languages
German: spoken and written very good (>C1)
English: spoken and written good (>B1)
