In this key role between international key accounts, sales, and the laboratory, you will further develop customer relationships, identify new projects, and translate demanding requirements into convincing technical solutions.

Technical Key Account Manager International

Your responsibilities include:

You strengthen Berlac’s strategic position in international markets and sustainably expand existing as well as new customer relationships. As a technical hub, you bring together customer needs, market opportunities, and the expertise of our laboratory.

• Technically and commercially support and further develop international key accounts
• Identify and acquire new customers, applications, and projects
• Plan and coordinate customer visits, technical discussions, and project activities
• Precisely translate requirements as the interface between customers, sales, and laboratory
• Formulate technical orders for the laboratory and consistently follow up on projects
• Monitor and document markets, competitors, trends, and modern coating systems
• Prepare visit reports and technical documents and participate in trade fairs

• Customer development (long-term relationships, new projects, and reliable technical solutions)
• Technical quality (clear laboratory orders, thorough documentation, and confident advice)
• Market presence (greater visibility with OEMs, key accounts, partners, and at trade fairs)

We expect:

• Technical education, ideally in chemistry, coating engineering, or coating technology, with relevant professional experience
• Sound knowledge of coating systems and coating technologies
• Practical knowledge of plastic and metal substrates as well as PVD and electroplated surfaces
• Strong customer orientation, convincing communication, and confident appearance
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style with clear prioritisation
• Very good German and English; additional languages are a plus
• High willingness to travel internationally and confident use of CRM and Microsoft Office
