IT Infrastructure Engineer Network & Security (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 110,000Role:
You like it when no day is the same as the other. In this position as IT Infrastructure Engineer Network & Security, you manage demanding network infrastructures for various clients, from the initial concept to stable operation. Between project assignments, analyses and support, there is enough room for technical depth. A dedicated test lab is available to you to try out features and continuously expand your knowledge.
Responsibilities:
You implement network infrastructures and configure switching, routing, wireless as well as network access control (NAC)
In case of faults, you investigate the cause and quickly restore operation
Furthermore, you ensure stable operation including monitoring and second-level support
You write technical concepts and maintain documentation meticulously
Additionally, you manage provider connections
You also test new devices and functions in the lab for their practical suitability
Qualifications:
A completed technical basic education in the IT field forms your foundation
You have certified or specifically further trained yourself in the network area or in IT security
You are experienced in handling firewall, switch and WLAN solutions from established manufacturers such as Fortinet
Knowledge of network automation with Ansible or similar tools is an advantage
You have native-level German skills and use English confidently in technical everyday life
Additionally, you work service-oriented, remain flexible in time for assignments outside office hours and hold a category B driving licence
