In this responsible leadership role, you will take on the strategic and operational management of our projects in network construction and ensure high quality across all trades. This includes electricity, gas, water, urban drainage as well as district heating and cooling.


We are looking for a

Head of Department Construction Project Management

to start immediately or by arrangement.Your tasks

• Strategic planning, management and quality assurance of our projects in civil engineering and utility construction across all trades
• Leadership and further development of a team of around 10-15 employees from project management, construction management and planning
• Management of external engineering and planning partners as well as ensuring quality, costs and deadlines
• Responsibility for budget planning, cost control and investment planning in your own area
• Coordination of projects with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities, civil engineering office and other utility providers
• Responsibility for cross-project topics such as approval procedures, traffic concepts, communication measures as well as procurement and contract matters

Your profile

• Degree as an engineer FH/ETH, e.g. in civil engineering, environmental technology or a comparable field, or as a technician HF in construction management/civil engineering
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in civil engineering, utility construction or comparable infrastructure projects
• Sound knowledge of project management, ideally including SIA phase model, procurement, awarding, contract management and approval procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking ability as well as an independent, decisive and solution-oriented working style
