About the job

The Schönhalde Foundation offers around 65 residential places and 35 day-structure places for adults with psychological and addiction-related impairments and employs 40 staff members. Our offer includes a residential home, various shared flats, supervised external apartments as well as employment opportunities in studios, kitchen and technical services. We orient ourselves according to the individual needs and resources of our residents. This diversity offers a varied professional everyday life with plenty of scope for creativity. Social Work Specialist FH / HF (80-100%)

Your tasks

• You accompany our residents appreciatively and needs-oriented in everyday life.
• As a key worker, you build trusting relationships and develop individual goals together with the residents.
• You advise, accompany and support in personal and social matters.
• You maintain communication with relatives, authorities and professionals and manage the residents' files.
• You conduct individual and group discussions and organise varied leisure activities.
• You contribute your ideas in working groups and projects and actively shape our organisation.

Your skills

• Degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy (FH/HF) and good knowledge of the Swiss social system.
• You communicate confidently orally and in writing and enjoy working in a team.
• You are independent, flexible and service-oriented.
• You enjoy developing and implementing individual solutions.
• You remain calm and humorous even in challenging situations.
• Driving licence category B (for accompanying our clients with the electric car).
