To this end, we accompany children and young people through the process of growing up as part of school social work, promote conflict resolution skills, and guide them towards new strategies for action. As a result, pupils expand their abilities and learn to actively cope with life's challenges. We also support teachers and parents in their roles.

School Social Worker City of Schaffhausen

In this exciting role

• you will provide low-threshold counselling for pupils, parents, and teachers.
• you will be the contact person for interventions in crises and conflicts.
• you will offer individual case support and work with groups and classes.
• you will contribute to project and prevention work.
• networking and coordination will also be part of your duties.

You will be successful here

• with a completed degree in social work/social pedagogy from a university of applied sciences.
• thanks to further training and/or professional experience in counselling or school social work.
• if you preferably have experience in case work, prevention, crisis intervention, and in developing and implementing projects.
• because you are a communicative personality with the ability to work interdisciplinarily.
• as you have experience with children and young people of school age.
