Multimedia Technician – Programmer 60-100%

What to expect:

In this newly created position, after thorough training, you will work in various disciplines of professional AV and control technology. You will get to know our systems from planning through implementation to operation and gain insight into the technical and organisational processes of our projects. A central part of your role will be the development and programming of intelligent control systems. You will focus on solutions that are powerful yet intuitive to operate. Step by step, you will develop into an important specialist in the field of system controls and contribute to further expanding this core area of our company. You will work closely with our team and occasionally be deployed on-site with customers, significantly contributing to further enhancing Showtronic Solutions’ unique selling point in the field of controls.

What you should bring:

We are looking for an industry-affine individual with the desire for long-term development. A technical basic education (multimedia electronics technician, electrician, automation technician, IT specialist, event technician, or similar) and initial professional experience in the ProAV, multimedia, or communication technology environment are good prerequisites. Ideally, you have some experience with AV control systems such as Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, AMX. More important than specific product knowledge is your interest in understanding systems and developing technically sound solutions. You are used to working cleanly and focused, communicating appropriately in German (English is also welcome), and you are happy to be occasionally on-site with customers (category B driving licence desirable). Personally, you fit well with Showtronic if you are reliable, take responsibility, and enjoy realising high-quality solutions together as a team.
