Role:
A modern workplace stands and falls with a well-managed endpoint landscape. As a Workplace Engineer: Intune & Microsoft 365, you take over the operation and further development of Windows clients and mobile devices within the Microsoft 365 (M365) ecosystem. With Microsoft Intune and PowerShell, you bring structure, security, and automation to everyday work. You work independently, think in standards, and tackle even tricky issues yourself.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for packaging and automated distribution of applications via Intune.
You further develop configuration profiles as well as compliance and endpoint security policies for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
Furthermore, you plan update rings and ensure reliable patch management.
In 2nd and 3rd level support, you analyse complex errors and investigate recurring problems with root cause analyses.
Additionally, you optimise Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive and automate onboarding and offboarding including licences and permissions.
You also implement changes, migrations, and lifecycle measures and keep operational concepts and documentation up to date.
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience in workplace or endpoint engineering.
You are proficient in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 services.
You have practical experience with MDM, MAM, device enrolment, and endpoint security technologies.
You are familiar with automated client deployment via Windows Autopilot and Windows Update for Business.
You write PowerShell scripts that relieve you of routine administrative tasks and independently solve deployment or policy issues.
You understand the interplay of identity, security, and endpoint management and communicate convincingly in precise German as well as solid English.
