Would you like to contribute through independent reviews to ensure that Zurich Switzerland effectively complies with external and internal requirements? And do you enjoy preparing results in a way that management and the board of directors immediately understand them?

In this role, you are part of the Compliance business unit in the Governance, Reporting & Assurance team and actively shape the further development of Zurich Switzerland. You independently conduct risk-based assurance audits from start to finish. You have plenty of scope for creativity and can make a direct impact. By contributing to the development and improvement of various tools and dashboards as well as simplifying existing processes, you drive our innovative strength forward. What to expect

• You independently conduct assurance audits – from planning through execution to completion – using data analytics to make audits efficient and meaningful
• You identify relevant internal and external requirements, derive the essential risks from them, and focus the audit accordingly. You identify possible violations and unmet requirements, define measures, and monitor their implementation
• You prepare clear reports for management, the board of directors, region, and group, tailor them to the target audience, and ensure their quality
• You ensure the quality and compliance with the group framework regarding compliance assurance activities as well as common audit standards
• You support the further development of our assurance framework, tools, and dashboards as well as the simplification of existing processes

What distinguishes you

• Successfully completed studies at a (technical) university of applied sciences or equivalent education; certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or training as an auditor is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in internal or external audit, ideally in the financial sector; experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
• Strong ability to understand regulatory requirements, derive risks, and align audits accordingly
• Very good data analysis skills and affinity for technologies such as O365, Power Apps, and Power BI
• High initiative and commitment, independent and structured working style, strong team and assertiveness skills, as well as very good German and English skills

Start date: from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement

Travel activity: up to 10%

Hybrid working: up to 40%
