The Balthasar Group, an innovative and successful family business with around 70 employees from the Lucerne Seetal region, is looking for you! In addition to products from our largest candle manufacturing in Switzerland, we also trade in products in the Home & Garden sector. These include candles, candle accessories, bodycare, and household products.

To strengthen our motivated purchasing team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a

Head of Purchasing (M/F) 80 - 100%

with simultaneous function as purchaser for Household & Bodycare

WHAT AWAITS YOU

• Leading a small team of 3 people and an apprentice
• Long-standing supplier relationships
• Price and condition negotiations (including request for quotations)
• Purchasing interesting own brands (such as finito and Flaman)
• Purchasing brands for which we hold the Swiss brand representation (such as Dr. Scholl or Felce Azzurra)
• Coordination and monitoring of delivery dates
• Assistance with sourcing new products including trade fair visits
• Close cooperation with the PM, sales and logistics departments, quality assurance and all other involved departments

WHAT YOU BRING

• Several years of experience in purchasing, ideally already in a leadership position
• Purchasing specialist with a federal certificate
• Purchasing manager with a federal diploma or currently in training
• Ideally experience with the ERP Microsoft Business Central
• Independent and precise working style
• Above-average team and communication skills
• Sense of responsibility, flexibility and resilience
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
