• Responsibility for the design, operation, and further development of our global backup infrastructure
• Ensuring a stable, secure, and highly available backup operation at enterprise level
• Definition, implementation, and compliance with backup standards, policies, and processes
• Support and further development of the storage and server virtualisation areas in the context of data protection
• Documentation of systems as well as collaboration on cross-functional IT projects and concepts

• Completed training or degree in the IT field
• Several years of solid and demonstrable experience in the backup environment - this is mandatory
• Very good knowledge of backup technologies and architectures (e.g. Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik or similar)
• Sound knowledge in the areas of storage and server virtualisation
• Sense of responsibility, structured and independent working style
• Enjoyment of teamwork, initiative, and co-creation
• Willingness for occasional travel
