About the job

The Küssnacht district consists of the localities Küssnacht, Immensee and Merlischachen and is located at the foot of the Rigi between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug.

We have three beautiful and very well frequented lakeside baths. For the Seeburg beach bath in Küssnacht, we are looking for a committed, customer-oriented and reliable person for the bathing season 2027 (and following), from early May to the first week of October, as a

Lifeguard 50% - 100% (Job sharing possible)

Your tasks

• You ensure a safe, calm and orderly bathing operation.
• You are responsible for bathing supervision and the bathing regulations.
• You competently look after the bathers and are helpful.
• You provide first aid and medical service.
• You are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the sandy beach, the sunbathing lawn, the children’s paddling pool, the raft, the diving tower, the beach volleyball court and the play equipment.
• You check and ensure water hygiene.
• You clean the sanitary facilities and changing rooms.

Your profile

• You have the SLRG lifeguard certificate Module Lake as well as the BLS-AED-SRC certificate.
• You have good communication skills, a confident demeanour and assertiveness.
• You bring experience in bathing water treatment and swimming pool maintenance (possession of a specialist permit for bathing water disinfection).
• You have good observation and quick reaction skills.
• You have good German language skills; foreign languages are an advantage.
• You are willing to work irregular hours and weekends.
• You enjoy interacting with the bathers.
