Swiss Exams is a leading organization in exam management. We are an authorized Cambridge Assessment English Platinum Center, IELTS Test Center, TCF Test Center, and an official Goethe Examination Center, offering exams throughout Switzerland. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to administer the Goethe exams.
Job description
The responsibilities of invigilators include guiding the proctors, ensuring the integrity of the examination, and strictly adhering to the examination rules. Examinations take place every weekday (primarily Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) and on approximately 15 days per quarter. Invigilators are expected to be available for approximately 50% of the examination dates per quarter. We are seeking applicants for the regions of Bern, Zurich, Winterthur, Chur, St. Gallen, and Lucerne . Assignments in other regions are also possible. A minimum commitment of two years is preferred.
Your tasks
- Setting up and tidying the examination hall
- Providing and packaging the material
- Coordination and management of the examination staff
- Instructing the exam participants and answering their questions
- Announcement of exam dates and strict adherence to exam times.
Your profile
- Availability: At least 50% of exam days per quarter (approx. 7-8 days)
- German language skills at C1 level (verifiable)
- Participation in the mandatory training at the end of March, 2026 in Winterthur.
- Ongoing or completed vocational training or studies
- Safe handling of common computer programs
- Willingness to work at various locations in German-speaking Switzerland
- Friendly and professional interaction with exam participants
- Independent and reliable work ethics
