Senior Physician (m/f/d) for Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabology for the Eye Clinic 80-100%

Your main tasks
- Working in the team of the Department of Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabology and Rare Diseases
- Versatile consultations at USZ and the Zurich Children’s Hospital
- Performing strabological and paediatric ophthalmological procedures
- ROP screening and treatment
- Contributing to the training of assistant doctors and fellows and teaching students
- Supporting and organising current and planned clinical research projects
Your profile
- Completed ophthalmological training (specialist in ophthalmology)
- Experience in the special fields of strabology and paediatric ophthalmology, fellowship is an advantage but not a requirement
- Good communication skills and empathetic behaviour towards patients and parents
- Excellent German skills at least at C1 level
- Quick comprehension, independent and efficient working style
- You know your strengths and your limits
- Flexible, motivated, helpful and team-oriented personality with joy in dealing with people
- Interest and involvement in research work
