The Psychiatric Services Aargau (PDAG) are among the most modern and largest psychiatric institutions in Switzerland and have been a public limited company owned by the Canton of Aargau since 2004. More than 1800 employees at four clinics located in Windisch, at 16 external sites, as well as in numerous consultancy and liaison service cooperations, are committed daily to the welfare of patients, thus ensuring psychiatric care for the population of Aargau.
The hospital pharmacy, as a specialised centre for the entire PDAG, ensures the demand-oriented procurement and supply of all inpatient departments at the Windisch site (around 500 beds) as well as the outpatient clinics, centres, and consultation hours of the PDAG with medicines, medical products, protective equipment, disinfectants, drinking and tube feeding, as well as infusion solutions.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you to start immediately as
Tasks
- Management of ward pharmacies
- Inventory management and provision of medicines and medical products for the inpatient and outpatient departments of the PDAG
- Contact person for enquiries from doctors and nursing staff regarding the range of medicines
- Support for pharmacists in updating and further developing the quality assurance system
- Taking on special assignments in cooperation with the head pharmacist
Profile
- Completed training as a Pharmacy Specialist EFZ or Drugstore Specialist EFZ with several years of professional experience (hospital pharmacy experience advantageous)
- Independent, structured working style
- Confident German language skills, both spoken and written
- Open-minded, communicative, reliable, and team-oriented personality
- Quick comprehension
- Experience and enthusiasm in quality management
- Very good PC skills (MS Office package, BC knowledge advantageous)
