Your tasks

• After starting your shift, you will receive comprehensive information about the patient situation through a ward round.
• Your expertise provides additional security in the evenings, on weekends and public holidays. Your competence strengthens the nursing teams and enables flexible responses to acute crisis situations in acute psychiatry and forensics.
• If necessary, you support the other wards in managing psychiatric or somatic emergency situations or extraordinary workloads.
• You assist the duty doctor and night nurses with difficult and complex admission situations.
• Important patient-related circumstances and events are thoroughly documented by you.

Your profile

• You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH (SRK recognition or positive SRK PreCheck required for foreign diplomas).
• Preferably, you already have professional experience in acute psychiatry or gerontopsychiatry.
• You have completed a basic course in aggression management or are willing to complete one.
• You possess social skills, are resilient, have an independent and responsible working style, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Good IT skills facilitate your administrative tasks.

Your salary

Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between CHF 76,000 and CHF 110,000 per year.

On the first day, you will be onboarded with your new team and other colleagues. You will set up your new workplace and get an overview of your upcoming tasks. You will also receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
