The Monastery Butchery in St. Urban stands for high-quality meat and sausage products, regional connection, and personal customer service.

To support our team, we are looking for a friendly, reliable, and committed person who enjoys sales and likes to lend a hand.

Your Tasks

• Sales and customer advice in our butcher shop and on our market stall in Olten, Grenchen, Solothurn, and Langenthal.
• Preparation of meat and sausage products for sale and the self-service area.
• Cutting, portioning, packaging, and labelling of charcuterie, ham, and other specialties.
• Preparation of orders for gastronomy, village shops, petrol station shops, and other customers.
• Ensuring an appealing product presentation as well as hygiene and quality standards.

Your Profile

• Enjoyment of sales and personal customer contact.
• Good knowledge of meat, sausage products, and their uses.
• Training or experience in butchery, meat industry, kitchen, or gastronomy.
• Friendly demeanour and pleasure in advising customers competently.
• Independent, reliable, and careful working style.
• Team spirit, flexibility, and willingness to take on various tasks.
• Good German language skills.
• Willingness to work regularly on Saturdays, but not every Saturday.
