For our Governance & Policies team within the Central Compliance Department based in Zurich, we are looking for a Compliance Officer to join the team. Our team acts as central hub for policies and standards and is responsible for maintaining a robust Compliance Risk Framework which is essential for upholding regulatory request, promoting effective governance and ensuring highest standards of compliance across our operations.
IHRE AUFGABEN

Handle third-party due diligence requests incl. the development and implementation of solutions to support continuous improvement of related processes and procedures

Support Risk Type Owners in Compliance with the implementation of regulatory developments and industry best practices into internal policies and standards

Support the enhancement and implementation of global Compliance standards

Participate in key initiatives to set up new methodologies & standards

Maintenance of the Compliance Risk Management Framework incl. coordination of the Global Compliance Program and regulatory and/or external audits

Opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders within Compliance and Business and as well as with the Group’s international locations

Collaborate with partners across all three Lines of Defence and domestic and foreign Group affiliates
YOUR PROFILE

University degree or equivalent (preferably in law, compliance, banking & finance, business administration)

Minimum 3 years of banking industry experience with a focus on conceptional work in a compliance, risk management, legal or audit function in the area of Private Banking. Experience with Policies and Governance is a plus

Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills in approaching tasks, team-player, proactive attitude, in addition to attention to detail

Stress-resistant, ability to cope with tight deadlines and deliver independently under time pressure

Good communication skills, ability to build and maintain sound relationship with stakeholders

Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage
