Senior Cisco Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.

Role:
An experienced ICT specialist is sought for the operation of technically demanding communication and air traffic control systems. The focus is on the administration of complex network and security components, ensuring system availability as well as installations, maintenance and technical integrations at various locations in Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
Administration, configuration and modification of network components, firewalls, storage systems and air traffic control communication systems
Analysis and resolution of faults as well as carrying out regular maintenance work
Installation and commissioning of system expansions and modifications within the framework of change management
Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance measures to ensure system and service availability
Participation in system installations and integration projects
Creation and maintenance of technical system and training documentation
Continuous training in the areas of ICT, system technology and defence technology
Qualifications:
Education in computer science, ideally supplemented by ICT further training at university of applied sciences level or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in the network field
Knowledge at CCNA level or equivalent in routing, switching and network technology
Practical experience with firewalls and security solutions
Experience with Cisco as well as Check Point Maestro
CCSA or CCSE certification is an advantage
Knowledge of storage systems and virtualisation is an advantage
Analytical, solution-oriented and independent working style
Strong service and customer orientation as well as teamwork skills
Ideally driving licence category B
Very good German skills, good English skills at B2 level
