Biomedical Analyst HF/FH

The skin testing laboratory of the University Clinic for Dermatology and Venereology at the Inselspital is a nationwide reference centre in Switzerland for skin testing and the investigation of occupational inflammatory skin diseases. To strengthen our interdisciplinary team, we are looking for a committed individual to professionally and organisationally lead and help shape the laboratory.

What to expect

• Non-medical management of the skin testing laboratory
• Planning and coordination of all tests
• Preparation of the standardised test series
• Conducting skin tests
• Processing patient materials, especially occupational substances
• Conducting patient training sessions and continuous development together with the team
• Ordering test substances

What you bring

• Qualification in biomedical analysis
• Strong patient orientation
• Interest and willingness to process individual components of patient samples for subsequent testing, with the aim of identifying potentially new contact allergens
• Scientific interest and willingness to participate in research projects
• Independent, structured and reliable working style
• Confident German language skills in spoken and written form; knowledge of French is an advantage
• Collegial, empathetic manner and enjoyment of working in a team from various disciplines (Biomedical Analyst, Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) and Physician)
