Teamlead Product Content & Merchandising (80-100%)
Do you have a good sense for convincing product presentations and a desire to help shape content, processes, and performance in a dynamic online shop environment?
As Teamlead Product Content & Merchandising, you are responsible for the strategy, implementation, and further development of high-quality, sales-promoting product content for our webshop. Together with your small team, you ensure that our products are presented in a customer-friendly, understandable, and effective manner. Create shopping experiences that inspire and showcase our products in the best light with your expertise.
Your challenge
- Further development of the product content strategy in the online shop with a focus on customer needs, shop performance, trends, and growing product ranges
- Ensuring high-quality, sales-promoting, and compliant product presentation in text and images
- Optimising and scaling processes for content creation, approval, and maintenance, including sensible automation and AI support
- Leading, coaching, and developing a small team with a focus on quality, personal responsibility, and continuous improvement
- Close collaboration with purchasing, marketing, SEO, and data/BI to specifically develop product content, processes, and interfaces
- Analysing content performance and deriving data-based recommendations for relevant stakeholders
- Planning and accompanying A/B tests to optimise product detail pages and contributing your own ideas for the further development of the shop
- With your eye for optimisation potential in e-commerce, you independently and effectively drive improvements forward
What is important to us
- 2–3 years of professional experience in product content, merchandising, or UX in a digital environment, ideally in e-commerce
- Very good understanding of customer experience, sales-oriented product communication, and the ability to consistently think from the customer’s perspective
- A strong sense for high-quality visual and textual product content as well as a high standard of quality
- Analytical strength, commercial thinking, and experience in evaluating data, deriving optimisations, and ideally using A/B testing purposefully
- Openness and affinity for AI-supported tools and automation to further develop content processes
- Communication skills, structured working style, high initiative, and perseverance to successfully drive optimisations forward
- Experience in development-oriented employee leadership and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Basic knowledge of SEO and a good understanding of how to prepare product content in a search engine-friendly manner
- Knowledge of ERP or PIM systems, such as PlentyONE, as well as experience with HTML are advantageous
