The pastoral area Mittleres Wiggertal includes the parishes of Altishofen, Nebikon, Egolzwil-Wauwil, and Schötz. Together with the committed people, groups, and associations in our villages, we live an open, contemporary, and vibrant church. Accompanying our children and youth through a life-strengthening religious education and confirmation path is important to us.
To complement our team, we are looking for two committed and team-oriented personalities for the following areas of responsibility starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement. The areas of responsibility can also be combined.
Head of Catechesis Department (30 - 50 %)
- Leading the catechesis team and the confirmation path 17+ in the pastoral area
- Supporting the catechists including quality assurance
- Coordinating religious education
- Further developing religious education and the confirmation path in the pastoral area (in cooperation with the pastoral area team)
- Collaboration in the pastoral area team
- Membership in the Youth Network Commission in the municipality of Schötz
- Possibility to extend the workload through additional tasks in religious education and pastoral care
Catechist (80 - 100 %)
- Religious education mainly at the secondary level
- Leading the joint confirmation path 17+ in the parishes of Wauwil-Egolzwil and Schötz
- Collaboration on parish and pastoral area projects
- Possibility to extend the workload through additional tasks in religious education and pastoral care
