Gebr. Mengis AG in Lucerne is a family-run group of companies specialising in specialist civil engineering (core drilling, geothermal probes, filter wells) with around 50 employees. The group includes, in addition to Gebr. Mengis AG, M&E Technik AG and RHPM Assets AG. The company is characterised by expertise, short decision-making paths and a long-standing market presence. On their behalf, we are looking for you as
Experienced finance professional (60 - 80%) – with the option to become a member of the management board
You are responsible for the entire finance and accounting for three companies within the group – from bookkeeping to annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) including consolidation, as well as budgeting and reporting. In addition, you are the IT contact person and, in cooperation with HR, responsible for payroll. You maintain close contact with management, proactively inform them about financial key performance indicators and further develop the KPI system.
You bring solid professional experience in finance and accounting including reliable financial statement preparation according to OR, ideally with consolidation knowledge. In addition, you have the appropriate education and training at the level of a professional accounting or fiduciary certificate, expert in accounting and controlling, business economist HF/FH, or similar. You are a service-oriented personality who proactively provides data and facts. You work independently while being open to direct exchange. You navigate easily in a down-to-earth environment, bring your IT affinity and act entrepreneurially as well as solution-oriented.
