Role: CNC Polymechanic (Cylindrical Grinding/Internal Grinding)

Employer: Swiss industrial company in machine tool manufacturing

Location: Thun region

Workload: 100%

Working hours: 40 hours per week / annual working time

Work model: 2-shift operation

Salary: Up to 95,000 depending on experience (excluding allowances or bonus)

Start: Immediately or by arrangement

Your Responsibilities

• You independently set up, programme, and operate CNC surface grinding machines.
• You manufacture precise workpieces according to specified quality and deadline requirements.
• You measure the ground workpieces using the designated measuring methods and check the quality.
• About 20% of your working time you assist in milling as needed.
• You perform periodic maintenance and cleaning tasks on the machines and associated components.

Your Profile

• Training as a Polymechanic EFZ or several years of practical experience in cylindrical grinding or similar.
• Very good CNC knowledge
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift operation
• Precise, reliable, and independent working style

This role involves precise manufacturing and is not just machine operation. You set up, programme, grind, measure, and are jointly responsible for the quality of your work. The position is organised in a 2-shift operation.
